BUSINESS of COACHING

Photo of Bob Renggli

Presenter:  Bob Regggli

Topic:  Experiences of an Inside Corporate Coach

Description:
A) Adapting the ICF Coach model to Successful Selling Careers/Industries
B) ICF SIG (Special Interest Group) of Inside Corporate Coaches, from IBM, HP, Verizon, Ricoh, etc
C) Enormous “coaching appetite that is emerging for inside corporate coaches” and how to “sell oneself” into that growing opportunity
D) Q&A time for participants to interact around “selling coaching to the business community”.

Bio:  28 years of professional corporate sales success in training, 8 years of coaching, managing and major / national account leadership and mentorship produce a legacy of lessons.  Samples of “Sales-Gap Coaching” from here to quota plus team challenges, to facing powerful “Command Control” cultures of “do or die” “sell or perish” intimidation, transformed to “unique abilities” teams and tapping one’s competitive advantage…Bob gives coaching clues to build a better coaching business for oneself or one’s business clients.

ART of COACHING

Photo of Jerry Zygmuntowicz

Presenter: Jerry Zygmuntowicz

Topic:  From Feelings to Emotions

Description:  Feelings are suppressed in our society, and lack legitimacy as an expression of who we are. In the workplace, being “emotional” is considered inappropriate and a sign of weakness.  This interactive session will examine how emotions inform our actions and drive results in our lives and work. Drawing on the distinctions of Newfield Network, we will examine how to “peel the onion” on emotions, understanding how we react to events, make assessments of their meaning, and then react emotionally – ultimately leading to observable actions. We can serve our clients by revealing both what they care about and what they resist and fear, and how this drives their emotions. We will also examine emotions as a reaction to events, versus moods as long term emotional states.

Bio:  Jerry Zygmuntowicz, MBA, PCC, is an executive coach and organizational consultant dedicated to helping leaders, teams, and organizations improve their results. He partners with leaders to identify their goals and growth areas, recognize and overcome roadblocks, and create practices that help them develop in service to their objectives. His unique style connects with leaders emotionally as well as intellectually; and his clients value his business perspective, practical approach, and developmental focus. Jerry holds an MBA and BS Engineering from Cornell University. He is a Professional Certified Coach with the ICF, and certified by Newfield Network.  He is certified in Organization Development by NTL Institute, and qualified in several assessments. Jerry is active in professional organizations, speaks at conferences, and serves as an Adjunct Professor with Willamette University’s MBA program. .
