MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~  Dear friends,
One of my favorite quotes is from Galileo: "You cannot teach a man anything. You can only help him discover it within himself."
Our July 11th meeting is about discovering that what's inside each of us, and leveraging it to our benefit (and to that of our clients).
I believe that within each of us burns a deep desire to bring out the best in others, as in ourselves (and to get paid for it).
Deepak Chopra said that "Inherent in the desire is the capacity to fulfill that desire," and you'll find out how true that can be for your business in the pre- meeting when I explain how you can draw on your own knowledge and expertise to increase your bottom line through speaking and ebooks. Attendees will receive a information-filled hour of resources and case studies, so do come early and bring a pen so you can take notes!
In the main meeting, you'll learn that it's not who you know, but who knows you in former NWCA president Carolyn Campbell's presentation on networking to build your business.
This presidential double-header is going to be very good for your business, so don't miss it!

FELLOW COACHES - COME SEE WHAT YOU'RE MISSING!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Have you heard the buzz yet? I'm talking about the monthly NWCA meeting of course. Several of your fellow coaches have heard the buzz; we had 11 visitors and welcomed 4 new members at our last meeting. Folks came from as far South as Eugene and Seattle in the North to listen to our speakers and network with other coaches. So if you haven't been in awhile or this will be your first visit, come see what you're missing! our next meeting is Tuesday, July 11th!

NWCA MEMBERSHIP CONNECTIONS
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Reflecting Another Coach's Greatness: This is one skillful yet deeply caring by-product of the exponential expression of one coach's reflection of another coach's greatness. It is always a miraculous jolt to me to hear new coaches comment as they stroll away from each other at the 6:30 to 7:00 PM networking segment of our monthly meetings. "Wow, did he/she ever clarify that for me!" Or "Now it suddenly makes sense to me what I've been struggling with all along."
Coaches connecting with coaches, is a true ladder experience. Each time we are jolted by a new level of awareness, we are never again quite the same. We somehow learn the power of existence in a little higher state of awareness and live our own lives at a different, hopefully higher level.
As growing, stretching coaches, we sense new sources of energy and psychic power from fellow coaches that propels us onward and affords us new spark and insight for each client in our practice. As we enter the hopefully "lazy days of summer", let each of us make space for and invite into our lives the caring and critiquing input of fellow coaches. For it is precisely within that magical connection between coaches heading in a similar direction, that dreams and plans for richer lives for all is celebrated.

CHANGE IN MEMBERSHIP POLICY
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Effective July 1, 2006 the Northwest Coaches Association annual membership will change. In the past, your annual membership ran from 1 January to 31 December regardless of when you joined during the year. If you joined NWCA in August, your membership expired on Dec 31 along with everyone else's, even though they might have joined in January of the same year.
Now your annual membership will begin when you actually joined and run for 12 months from that date. Beginning July 1, 2006, if you join in August 2006, your membership will be ready for renewal in August 2007.
When your membership is ready to be renewed, you will receive a reminder so that your membership will remain current.
